Today was Layla's birthday. I can't believe she is 3 years old. She has grown so fast. We had a princess themed party. She picked out her own cake at the store (an Ariel cake) and her big present was a Cinderella dress and princess shoes. Not only does she love princesses, she is a such a girly girl and loves to play dress up.
Caton and I gave her presents and had a little family party and then a few of her friends came over for cake and ice cream. Caton and I have decided that we don't want Layla to get any bigger. We really enjoy her as is..but I guess that's life.
Good news is that I did not have my baby today. The fear of two kids sharing a birthday has past. Hopefully I will have him sometime in the next week or so. Keep checking back for updates and baby pictures.

Happy Birthday Layla! I can't believe it's been three years since we visited you in the hospital (and Jamie made sure we scrubbed our hands really well in the lobby bathroom before coming up!). Good luck with the arrival of your baby boy--we will be thinking of you and checking for pictures. Your blog is so cute.
