Layla and Jack with their friends at the park
We are moving to Denver in three weeks. While I am excited to be done with school and to start our "real life," I am sad to leave our friends. We have been so blessed to make good friends everywhere we have lived. We have wonderful friends that we made while living in California and we have so many good friends here in Indiana.
There are five mormon law student families that live in our apartment complex. We fill our days swapping kids, playing in our park, and just hanging out. I never would have made it through law school without them. We have helped each other with babies, midnight trips to the hospital, rides to the airport, car trouble, last minute doctor's appointments, and days when you just want to "sell your kids to the gypsies" as Caton often threatens Layla.
Layla has been so blessed to have so many little friends. She always has someone to play with and I always have someone to leave her with. I will be sad to take her away from her playmates that have almost become like brothers and sisters. Everyday she asks me if we can move to Colorado. I think if she realized how lonely she will be, she wouldn't be so excited to move.
