California

We just got home from California where we spent Thanksgiving. After my brother Matty's wedding, we had fun hanging out with family, eating good food, shopping, and enjoying good weather.

One of the highlights of my trip was my date with Layla to Disneyland--just me and her.  I rarely get to spend quality time with Layla now that Jack is in the picture so when my mom volunteered to watch Jack all day, we decided to go. Despite the overwhelming crowds and costs, we had a good time meeting almost every princess, waiting in monster lines for Layla's favorite rides, and eating all the junk we could afford. I loved spending time with my Layla and I wouldn't have changed any of it...

Another highlight was spending a few days at the our friend's house in Vegas. We got to know the Martinez family in law school and we have missed them a lot since graduation. It was nice to catch up and let Layla play with her best friend and partner in crime, Shayla.
