Caton's dad came for a short visit this week. It was unexpected and last minute, but as soon as I told Layla he was coming, her eyes welled up with tears as she said, "I've just waited for so long to 'have-ded' my Grandpa come!" Can we say drama queen?
It was a nice visit and Grandpa got to spend his entire Friday watching Barbie movies and reading princess books. Lucky guy! Layla and Jack miss him already.
