Another Great Weekend...

I love Saturdays! We just had a good family day...the kind I want my kids to remember with nostalgia when they are older. It started with us going out to breakfast in beautiful spring weather then doing a couple errands. After that, we came home and just relaxed before taking Layla to a birthday party, doing a few more errands, then picking up a babysitter for our Saturday night date. Our date was perfect and refreshing. I love that Caton insists on weekly dates. By the end of a busy week, I need it.

Speaking of our date, tonight Caton took me to an exceptional movie.

This was a documentary about the "scientific war" between Darwinism's evolution and Intelligent Design/Creationism. Ben Stein explores both scientific theories and more importantly the consequences scientists are experiencing for being on the "wrong side" of the debate (those who support Intelligent Design are being "shut-up").

I highly recommend this movie. It was extremely pro-God and Intelligent Design. There were parts of the movie that had me laughing out loud and other parts that moved me to tears because it reaffirmed my faith that we are God's creation. It was completely riveting and I feel good that my movie money supported a good documentary. Go see it!

Anyway, here are some pictures of our lovely day. Caton and Layla napped on the couch (Caton napped, Layla watched TV) and I was thrilled to get some great shots. I love their sweet father/daughter relationship...
