Red Rocks

As a former die-hard Dave Matthews Band fan, I could not leave Colorado without visiting the Red Rocks Amphitheater ("Live at Red Rocks" is one of my favorite DMB albums).  So after dinner yesterday, we got in the car and drove towards the mountains for another Sunday outing. It was beautiful! The mountains are finally green from all the snow and rain and the red rock formations are stunning. I have said it before, but Colorado is truly beautiful.  We sat in the amphitheater which looked out over Denver and let the kids run up and down the steps. Caton and I regret not being able to actually see a concert at this venue. It seems like it would be amazing!

I really think the Visitor Bureau of Colorado needs to snatch you up before you leave for Utah--such gorgeous pictures! I'm glad you're getting in some fun amidst the work of a move.

Oh, and that place looks a lot better than the Glen Helen Pavillion, where we saw DMB, out in the middle of hot San Bernardino with a two hour traffic jam to get out of the parking lot.

Those are awesome pictures. Maybe one day Dave will play there again... Good luck on your move!
