My kids never have this much fun with me. Everything is cooler and better when grandma is visiting--cooking, cleaning, shopping, driving. Is it because grandma's a novelty or is it because I am truly a boring mother? Either way, the kids and I are enjoying my mom's visit.
Yesterday we went to the Hogle Zoo. I had never been and was pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely little zoo and I signed our family up for a yearly membership so that we could come and go as we please.
