yesterday my sweet little girl turned five. we went to build-a-bear and had a birthday party with b&r ice cream cake--my favorite.
i can't say enough about my little layla. she is so sweet and so smart. she is my snuggler, my shopping buddy, my artist, my singing and dancing partner, and my best helper. i love her so much and joke with her that i'm only going to feed her candy and soda so she stops growing. to that she rolls her eyes, shakes her head, and says, "silly mommy, i have to grow up so i can be a mommy like you!"
