it's finally october...

This is my favorite month. In my book, it is the official beginning of the holiday season. It is usually the start of cooler days and crisp nights. It is the perfect time for jackets, scarves, boots, gloves, hot chocolate, good movies, caramel, candy corn, pumpkin everything, and beautiful leaves. 

This year, October is going to bring family in town for conference, a 7 day adult only New York City/Boston trip, a possible weekend trip to California, and of course two birthday parties and Halloween. 

I am very excited...
