we just got home yesterday after waking up at about 3:30am eastern time to catch a cross country flight that had connections in two different cities only to turn right back around and take my mom to the airport to catch her flight back to los angeles. by the time my kids went to bed, i was exhausted.
but after almost 12 hours of sleep, i feel more myself. i dumped all my pictures onto my computer this morning...i had a lot...703 to be exact...and after going through them all, here are some of my favorite.
most pictures are of little things that struck me as funny or beautiful or memorable or iconic. we had such a good time and did so many things that i think i will save my what is sure to be lengthy vacation log for another post...
i became obsessed with these new york brownstones...they were so unique and beautiful...
these are cranberries that i found in rockefeller center...i just loved the color
the brooklyn bridge...
the memorial cross at the world trade center...
these treehouses were in madison square park...
we stood in line for almost an hour at the shake shack. the hamburgers were good, but the pumpkin pie shake with huge chunks of actual pumpkin pie made the wait so worth it...
