Thanksgiving is over and I am so sad. Here is why:
1) My parents and sisters have left. This holiday was all about "girl things"--shopping, baking, more shopping, and seeing Twilight...THREE TIMES! (Can you believe that? I am so ashamed and yet I think I would see it again if I had the time. And just for the record, there are some things I didn't like about the movie, but by the third viewing...I didn't care about the cheesiness, the bad music, or the lame special effects. There was enough to enjoy...visually...if you know what I mean.)
2) My leftovers are either gone or getting increasingly unappetizing. I had a few blissful days of turkey/stuffing/cranberry sandwiches, but it seems like that is all over.
3) All my Christmas shopping is done. Some may think this is a good thing, but I am so sad that I have no more excuses to shop for the next three weeks.
4) I realized that I took barely any pictures. I am usually all over the documentation of holidays, but I dropped the ball on this one. And now I have very slim pickings and it makes me sad.
However, with the end of Thanksgiving comes the beginning of Christmas. Caton has a rule that I cannot put up Christmas decorations or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Now that I am free to decorate and listen, I have been doing nothing else.
