She was so cute! I had reservations about buying an $80 costume, but when I first saw her in it...I just about died (and they get to use it again for their recital in June so it's not a total waste of money). And she loved every minute of it. Loved the costume, the headband, the make-up, the hair, the rest of recital...she just loved it.
As we watched the older teenager ballerinas dance tonight, Layla (without taking her eyes off the stage for a second) leaned over to me and whispered in the most admiring little voice, "Are they real?" Oh...I just love this little girl!
I can't figure out how to get her dance video off my camcorder, so a few pictures will have to do for now.
