My life seems to be a constant battle between what I should be doing and what I want to be doing. There are days--like today--where everything seems to be a mess and yet I cannot find the willpower to clean up. I should be doing laundry and dishes...instead I am blogging about how I should be doing laundry and dishes. I should clean bathrooms, organize my office, and plan dinner...but instead I think I will look at camera lenses online or create a giant wishlist at anthropolgie.com or finish a book.
I don't mind cleaning and I definitely prefer a clean and organized home, but with two crazy kids making messes from breakfast to bedtime...it gets a bit discouraging. It reminds me of a quote I once heard...
"Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing."
Can that just be my excuse?

Its so nice to see another kitchen sink looking like mine. Thanks for keeping it real and reminding me we are all in the motherhood thing together.
