Today was Layla's preschool field trip to the South Jordan Fire Station. I think Jack was even more excited about it than Layla. As soon as we saw the trucks Jack was mesmerized. After the tour was over, I had to drag him to the car kicking and screaming. Layla had a good time too and even pushed herself to the front of the crowd to get a better look at things (this is amazing because Layla is typically too shy to get in the middle of a crowd).
The funniest part of the trip was when the kids got to walk through the cab of the truck and come out the other side. I helped Jack and Layla get in one side and then I went over to the other side to take pictures of them coming out. Out came Layla and we waited for Jack to show up. The cab was a little dark and so I had to peer inside to find Jack. He was sitting in the seat all buckled up and ready to drive off. Do we have a future firefighter? Maybe...
