isaac's blessing

Sunday was Isaac's baby blessing. My parents, Caton's parents, our brothers and sisters and friends all came to be a part of it. I am always nervous that our babies will wail through their blessings, but Isaac was perfect. He was wide awake and didn't make a sound. Caton gave a beautiful blessing and it meant so much to me to have all our family and friends here with us.

We spent the rest of Sunday eating good food, relaxing, napping, and hanging out. It was a good day.

We celebrated my dad's 55th on Saturday. I made his traditional German Chocolate Cake and since we couldn't find candles or matches, we improvised with straws.
