We bought a house today. Our very first house. After nine years of school and moving from state to state, today we finally bought a house. And I love it. Pictures to come.
The movers came today, packed us up, and loaded the truck. Tomorrow they are going to unload our stuff. Tonight we are camping out on air mattresses in our new place.
Isaac was perfect today. Slept right through all the chaos. Layla played nicely outside one last time with all her neighbor friends. And Jack drove me completely nuts. I don't know what I am going to do with that kid.
I feel very overwhelmed at the amount of unpacking and organizing I have to do in the next few days. Caton's attitude is always "It will get done when it gets done so don't worry about it." Good advice but it still stresses me out to not have everything organized and accessible. Especially with a new baby. But he is right...it all will get done eventually. In the meantime, I think Target and McDonalds will become my best friends. If I can't find it, go buy it...right?
