My sweet little Layla decided to cut her hair today. She wanted a short bob...like her mom. I have mixed emotions about the "new do." It makes her seem so much older and that makes me sad. But it does eliminate one of the greatest sources of contention between us - the snarly hair brush out session! Lots of tears and frusterated just-about-to-lose-it sighs every morning. Short and sweet may be best for our tender mother-daughter relationship.
She does look pretty cute. And those eyes! I swear that I only slightly sharpened and adjusted the contrast while editing. These colors are pretty straight out of the camera. So beautiful!
I guess these will also serve as her official Starting Second Grade pictures too. She is just growing up so fast.

During our little photo shoot, I could not get this boy to relax his smile. Until I made farting noises. Then he laughed hard. Still cute.
