I love these guys. They are starting to play together which - on the days that Layla is at school and Jack is not - is the most awesome thing ever. I didn't expect them to play so well yet (Jack is just about to turn 5 and Isaac is 20 months) but Isaac follows Jack around like a puppy and Jack loves it.
A few things about Ike:
He is a talker. He may beat Layla for youngest talker in the family. Already he can say (pretty clearly) - Mommy, Daddy, Layla, Isaac, Sally, Grandma, Grandpa, leave me alone (a third child thing), more, some, milk, thank you, ding dong, yummy, please, uh-oh, and sorry. We can get him to imitate just about every other sound and word but those are his regulars. Just today he said "Mommy - yummies - please!"
He's very loving and very snuggly. We just love him to death and we all fight over who gets to snuggle with him in the mornings.
Here are a few pictures of the little boys. It has been my life's mission to capture Jack with a natural smile. He's been doing these super concentrated forced faces lately that bug me to death. I think I got a few.

SO adorable! That is how Shayla and MItchell play too (almost same ages too as yours!). Mitchell follows Shayla around all day and is her little copy cat! It is so dang cute! Maybe because there is more fighting than playing for now - these photos are so precious!
