Two months since my last post? Where have I been?
I've been pregnant. And sick. The sickest I have ever been pregnant. I really don't want to talk about it much. I'll only say that the last two months have been the hardest months for me in all my 8+ years of motherhood. When I start to think about it I shutter and cry.
Anyway, I am starting to feel noticeably better and so I have decided that I need to catch up on big events of the fall/winter: Layla's baptism, our trip to Antigua, and Christmas. Unfortunately since I was deathly sick, I didn't get a single photo of Layla's birthday, Jack's birthday, and Thanksgiving...so...I'm just going to pretend like they never happened. There's always next year.
Here is a bit about Layla's baptism.
Layla was baptized Saturday November 12, 2011 by her father Caton Hanson and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also by her father. I gave a short (no exaggeration) talk on the Holy Ghost during the first part of her baptism.
She was so beautiful in her white dress. I tried my best to get it together enough to have a little photo shoot, but it didn't turn out so well. I hope she will forgive me later in life.
Both Caton and my parents were there, as well as two of Caton's brothers and three of my siblings. We also had some good friends and neighbors come. It was a very special day. We are very proud of Layla and her choice to be baptized.
Here are a few pictures:

Thank you! What a wonderful day. I am still sad that we weren't able to be there. She is darling!
Congrats on Laylas baptism and your pregnancy!! But sorry to hear you are so sick - that will be one cute baby to make up for it!
