With so many things to check off our to do list before this baby comes, Caton and I decided to get away for a few days and enjoy one last bit of alone time. We drove up to SLC, shopped, dined, went to the movies, stayed in a hotel, ate a HUGE breakfast, and then shopped some more. (Eating and shopping seem to be what we do best.) It was a nice break and it is always fun to just get to hang out with Caton. After 11 years, he is still my favorite person.
After our little "baby-moon," we came home, kissed our kiddos, and then headed out for the evening with our good friends visiting from Nevada. We have been friends since law school and it's so fun when they get to come visit us. Layla and Jack look forward to their playing with their kids and seem to pick up right where they left off getting into all sorts of trouble. I took their family pictures Sunday morning and couldn't resist sticking Layla in with her friend Shayla for a few shots. These girls are so cute and I love that I have pictures of them together from when they were just barely 1 year old.
