Since Layla has 2 years before she goes to kindergarten, I had a hard time finding a preschool this year that fit my preschool budget. Since my budget was $0, I was getting frustrated with my options. Luckily, I became involved with a joy school type idea that some moms in our ward were trying to get going. We finally put our ideas into action and now Layla goes to "school" twice a week...for free. There are 7 girls in our little school so I only have to teach one week every 8 weeks. My first week was last week and it went pretty well. We discussed the letter B and the number 2. We also talked about colors and I taught the girls the "Color Hokey Pokey" which they LOVED! But the biggest hit was the dress-up chest. Luckily, I think I had enough dresses for everyone--crisis averted!
