After all the craziness last night, Caton and I both woke up this morning in no mood to deal with any more drama. Of course, during lunch, Layla managed to knock an entire cup of milk off the counter because she was playing around in her chair. Having told her a million times to sit down when she eats, Caton and I began to explain that from now on, if she didn't listen to us, there would be more serious consequences.
Caton: If you don't sit down when you eat and listen to us, there will be consequences. Understand?
Layla: No.
Michelle: Like no dessert...
Caton: And no TV...
Michelle: And no friends over...
Layla: (takes this all in, thinks, and says with a hopeful smile) And no dinner?
Click here to be reminded of how much Layla likes dinner.

Hey Michelle... I just wanted to leave a comment, while I'm here in Sweden, because as the good little obedient missionary that I am, I got permission from the mission president to look at your blog when I do email. Layla is a cutie, and the stories really make me laugh. Miss you tons.
