This is how our day began...
Jack and Layla were playing together and next thing I know, Jack comes to me with blood dripping out of his eye. I immediately freak out as eye wounds are one of my greatest fears. Luckily, the blood was from a cut just above his eye, although blood in general still gives me the creeps. I took him to an urgent care and though he narrowly missed needing stitches, he has nice little black eye and a potential scar. Caton thinks a scar won't matter because he is a boy and boys are "tough" but I am still sad.
The only good that came out of this ordeal was that Jack temporarily became a little more snuggly and kissable. That made me feel a little better.

ohhh...that cut is so sad. i am so glad that he missed his eye and didn't need stiches. all a little boy doesn't need is seeing a needle coming right at his eye. poor little jack jack.
Erik can sympathize, I think they probably will have matching scars. He got his when he just about Jack's age from climbing out of his crib and landing in just the wrong place.
Okay, so cute. I too secretly love the part when they need to snuggle when they are hurt. My favorite part of this is the princess sippy cup...must have a princess obsessed big sister.Miles loves to drink out of these when EmmaJane is around.
