baking day...

Today we stayed in our jammies and baked all day. I love days where we have nothing to do and nowhere to go.  Jack and Layla helped with the important things like trying cookie dough, licking spoons, and testing the consistency of the christmas caramels--all critical steps in the baking process. Baking is one of my favorite Christmas traditions and I enjoyed it so much more this year with my sweet little kids...
