california part 1...

Every time I come home to LA, I remember how much I miss it all--the ocean, the hills, the warmth, the restaurants, the stores...and especially all our family and friends. Although 10 hours is a long drive for the kids, I love that we are close enough to visit often.

My parents took a fabulous vacation to Hawaii and so Caton and I volunteered to "watch" my little sister Brooke for the week. Caton had tickets to the 2009 World Baseball Classic at Dodger Stadium and so we decided to make it a vacation--complete with trips to the beach and Disneyland (lots pictures to come). We also spent a day at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. They have a retired Air Force One that you can walk through. It was really a neat place.

Here are some pictures of our day at the Library and our Sunday dinner with Matty and Belize. I call this post "california part 1..." because I literally have over a thousand pictures to go through. Stay tuned for part 2 and more.
