We went to the beach expecting it to be freezing. We didn't even put swim suits on the kids because we knew they wouldn't go in the water. It actually turned out to be a nice day. And although the water was just as cold as we expected, that didn't stop the kids from going in. Soon everyone's pants were soaked and we had to be completely white trash and let the kids run around in their underwear.
The picture of Jack is a sad story. He ran into the ocean as the waves were receding only to find that he couldn't outrun the waves as they came back to the shore. He tripped and fell and reached out for me to save him. And what did I do? I got in his face and took some pictures of the poor kid. Such a bad mother...
