hanging out...

I spent yesterday devouring a book. When I get that into a book, nothing else gets done. Jack and Layla played all morning in their jammies. Most of the time Jack and Layla play so nicely together. Their play mostly consists of Layla creating these elaborate imaginative scenes and Jack filling in for whatever role she needs to be played. Or, Jack just following Layla around mimicking her every move (I call them Pete and Repeat).  I love hanging out with these two...

This next picture is of Jack crying because Layla doesn't want him to hold her "special egg"...

of course, Layla gives in and shares with him...

but soon the sharing is done and Jack cries again...

which usually results in a time out on the stairs to give him a little distance from the situation...
