happy fourth...

Such a great weekend...nice weather, great friends, good food...it was perfect.

Our friends from law school came up from Vegas for the weekend. On Friday, we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house and then out to dinner and a movie (saw My Sister's Keeper and literally bawled my eyes out). Saturday we spent the fourth of july relaxing by the splash pool and eating good food with some more law schools friends that live here in SLC. We only lit a few mild fireworks and some sparklers, but when the oldest child of the group is only 8 it's not that hard to impress. Jack was mesmerized by his sparkler and couldn't help singing "Happy Birthday to You!" every time one was lit.
