...and barely surviving. This has got to be the longest summer in history. I am feeling a little better, but the nausea just won't go away. I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and although I am thrilled to finally reach that pregnancy bench mark...I keep asking myself the same blasted question: Why am I still so sick?!
But enough complaining (for now)...
We just got back from a fun trip to California. We spent some time with the fam (the whole fam) and I got to relax and take a break from the norm. Lots of swimming, beaching, eating, and shopping. Vacationing at my parents' house is seriously like being at a five star resort--complete with day care and spa services. It was great.
In other news, Layla has her first loose tooth. Not a huge deal, but I got really emotional when she showed it to me. I very clearly remember feeling her first tooth break thru when she was just a baby. And now she is old enough to lose it. Bittersweet for me.

Great pictures! Shayla will be so sad that Layla has a loose tooth! She has been hoping and praying for months for a loose tooth. It is just not happening fast enough for her. I just am sad she wants to grow up so fast.
