I love the fall. Today was cold and rainy and wonderful. October is not going to disappoint this year. Yay for boots and gloves and hot chocolate and all things caramel and pumpkin!
In other news, I am feeling great. Aside from the occasional headache or bloody nose (a new and odd pregnancy symptom for me), I feel almost myself. The cold weather has completely invigorated me and I am cleaning, organizing, and blogging...things I haven't been too excited about the last few months. Caton and I are planning a little getaway trip for November and I can't decide where to go. Any suggestions?
Layla is now off track in school (her school is year round so she gets 3 weeks off every couple of months). I am excited that October is her month off. There are so many fall/Halloween things to do here and I am glad to have my afternoons free to enjoy them with the kids.
Jack is now completely potty trained. Yay! He just joined a play group of 3 boys and loves it. Poor kid usually only plays with girls and although he terrorizes them (like a boy should), it is good for him to play with some boys his age.
Jack's latest goals in life are to a) be only addressed as "Jack the Pumpkin King" and b) dress exactly like his Daddy. Actually, he wants to do everything like his dad. When I asked Jack what he wanted for his birthday, his answer was "an iphone."
