A BOY! He looks healthy and active and very, very male. "200% sure" is what the technician said. Both Caton and I were pretty confident that he was a boy and even Layla and Jack were rooting for a brother...so we are all very happy about it. Now all we have to do is agree on a name. This is going to be very hard for us. I don't like many boy names and Caton has some...ummm...unique choices.
But whatever name we choose, this baby boy is already so loved and so wanted. As I watched my baby summersault on the screen, I was overcome with love for this sweet little thing...even though he made me miserable for 2 solid months. And although I hate being pregnant and am definitely NOT a newborn person, I have to admit that all the nausea, sleeplessness, nosebleeds, fatigue, swelling, aching, and general suffering are totally and completely worth it. (I may have to come back and re-read this post before I deliver).

Yea! I am so glad that he looks healthy. When I told the kids that Layla & Jack were having a brother, they asked if we could "go next week" to see him. If only it were that easy, eh? So excited for you guys. Good luck in the name department! I am totally on your side! ;)
A boy?! How fun! Glad to hear he is growing just perfectly. Layla is going to be one tough big sister! Congrats!
I am so excited for you! I love boys and you guys make adorable ones! Good luck for the next 20 weeks! Love, Laura
Two boys and a girl--it's a great way to go! So excited for you guys. Just be prepared for A LOT of wrestling once the little guy and Jack get closer in size.
