Isaac...

15 weeks tomorrow. Isaac is getting so big (literally - he is so chubby) and I feel like time is just flying. I look at his littleness and chubbiness and I don't want to forget any of it. I know I can capture some of it on camera or on video, but I wish someone would invent something that would let you capture a baby's smell or soft skin. I could kiss Isaac all day and still not get enough of him.

Isaac is seriously the best baby. I don't know why I have been blessed with him (he is probably going to be a terror of a toddler or a crazy teen) but he is really the p-e-r-f-e-c-t baby. He naps in the morning and afternoon. He goes to bed at 8 and sleeps pretty much through the night. He smiles at everyone, cries only when he is hungry, and just chills in whatever spot I put him. He lets Layla carry him around and lets Jack try to stick fingers up his nose. Sometimes I forget I even have a baby. He is just so patient.

I took these pictures this evening outside. I am sorry there are a million of them but I just couldn't choose. Everything thing about Isaac is so precious. I love his eyes and smile. I love his sausage fingers. I love his thunder thighs. Even the lint from his socks on his little toes is worth remembering to me.

I just can't get enough of him.
