A double Halloween birthday party! So much fun planning it, so much fun having it, so relieved to have two birthday parties done at once. I really loved every bit of planning this party - making the cupcakes, the "spooky" lunch menu (mummy hotdogs, zombie finger cheese sticks, halloween soda), and the decorations. Layla and Jack loved it.
There was no fighting or jealousy over presents - they each got to open some. All their friends came in costume. And we had the best, best, best family costume theme this year (how cute is our little Yoda!). Even Caton wore the Jedi robe I made (yes - I made it) for him. I cannot wait for the real deal next weekend!

Fun! But you failed to mention who you dressed up as in the family theme costumes. I want to see a picture of that!
you are right, best idea ever! the family costumes are the cherry on top! those yoda ears remind me of someone in particular...:) and now someone else who has inherited them...
yet another poor child who you have tainted by dressing him up as yoda - except I didn't need the fake ears!
