what is going on?

It's almost been a month since my last post! So not like me. And I don't even have a good excuse. I am not pregnant or sick or busier than usual...I just haven't felt like posting anything. So here's a quick recap of the month.

-Caton turned 33. We continued our tradition of going on a lunch date to Cheesecake factory and it was as yummy as ever. Caton got a remote control starter for his car. He can start his car from his iphone anywhere there is a cell phone signal. Two good things about this gift: Caton was totally surprised and he loved it. Those two things don't always happen together. I was pretty pleased with my sneaky self.

-Caton and I ran a 5k and two weeks later, a 10k. I completed both without walking and under my time goal. As a former "hater", I am very proud of my accomplishment. I also had fun doing this with Caton. We are planning to run the Utah Valley Half Marathon in June. Yikes!

- Layla and Caton went to the annual Daddy-Daughter Princess Ball. They went last year and it has become a highly anticipated event for Layla. This year Caton bought her a new dress and scheduled a hair and nails appointment prior to the event. She wore a tiara, he wore a suit, they ate hors d'oeuvres, took at ride in a limo, and danced the night away.

Tuesday is Isaac's 1st birthday. I can't believe it's been a year. I am planning a very extensive birthday photo shoot with the little guy. Pictures will come later this week.
