We are keeping pretty busy around here. Last weekend my parents came for a visit. The boys skied, Jack went sledding, and my mom took care of a sick me - who happened to have the busiest weekend ever. I always say that it's not fair for moms to get sick...so I am glad that my mother was there to take care of me this time around.
This week Isaac had a cold, which turned into an ear infection. To say that he was clingy would be an understatement. Glued, plastered, cemented...those would be more appropriate words. Add that he weighs 26 pounds...yeah, that's what my week was like.
Also this week, Layla had four teeth extracted. Her orthodontist recommended it so that her front teeth could "have the chance" to come in "as straight as possible." Translation: Her mouth is little, her teeth are big. It's going to cost a lot of money to get these suckers straight - starting now. Another highlight of my week.
Kind of a rough week. However, Caton did take me out to dinner tonight. And Isaac is finally on antibiotics. And Layla got a hefty amount of money from the tooth fairy. We bought our first piano. And tomorrow, Layla and I are going on an overnight girl trip to see my friend's brand new baby.
And I discovered this awesome picture of Jack on my camera. He asked me to take it. I die laughing every time I look at it. It's just so Jack. Enjoy!

Jack cracks me up! I love that kid! Sorry about the braces. We are just biding our time until that all starts for us. Yay. So fun about the piano. I love ours! Glad your mom was there to help out while you were under the weather. Hope Isaac is better soon. And I am so happy that I am the friend you are coming to see. Thanks.
