Loved easter this year. Morning easter egg hunt, lovely afternoon at church, and then a yummy dinner with family and friends. Only problem: I ate so much candy. And not just today. This whole month has been one long cadbury mini egg/robin egg binge. I have to stop! I have a serious sweet tooth problem.
And I am going to stop. I have decided (once again) to go without sugar for a period of time. I will not eat treats or candy or any dessert-like things until my race (june 11th). Apparently I am a sugar addict and only an all or nothing type approach will calm things down. So be it. Bring it on.
Back to easter.
I am so grateful for my Savior. We watched a bunch of mormon message videos with the kids today and I took the opportunity to share with them my testimony about the Savior. I hope they know that I believe that He lives. He lives and because of Him, we can become perfect and live with our families forever. That is everything to me.
And who wouldn't want to always be with these little stinkers?
This was the best shot in our little five-minutes-before-church-started photo shoot. The sun was too bright and no one wanted to smile. At least I got one decent easter picture.
Happy Easter!!

Michelle, you are a sugar eater with a running problem. Sounds better!
I wish I could have your determination to go without sugar. I have a serious sweet tooth too! What a beautiful, simple testimony. I am so glad I know you and your children are blessed to have you as their mom. Isaac is so yummy! And Jack cracks me up. And I wish Layla lived closer to calm my Shayla down! Sigh.
