Oh, my little Ike. How I love, love, LOVE this little guy.
He is snugly and sweet. He has the most amazing eyelashes. He loves cars and angry birds and his elephant "Ellie."
If you spent a day with Isaac, you would most likely feed him frosted mini wheats for breakfast (with a side of chocolate milk). Then you would snuggle with him in bed watching Cars 2, Ice Age, or Mickey Mouse. Then you would take him to go potty and let him play angry birds on your Ipad until he did his business. After going potty, he would hug you and say "I'm so proud of you" and then go off to play on his own. If you were ever wondering where Ike was, you would find him playing quietly with his hot wheels or angry bird figurines. He could spend hours doing this. After a lunch of toast, a banana, and -- yes -- some chocolate milk, he would most likely sit on your lap as you did work on the computer or read a book. He would suck his blistered thumb while clutching Ellie and just sit while you finish whatever it was you were doing. When he got tired, he would snuggle and periodically turn your face to his so that he could kiss you or smile. When the kids got home from school, Isaac would tag along with whoever wanted to play (usually Jack). After dinner, he would play some more with his cars and then happily go to bed with his sippy cup and his Ellie.
Isaac is seriously the cutest, easiest kid in the world. I love him so much and felt I needed to really step it up this year with a good birthday party. I often feel that with two grade school kids and an infant, Ikey just gets a little lost sometimes. He doesn't ask for much and I feel like the other kids monopolize my attention. I wanted to do something nice for Ike even though he probably won't remember or even care about my efforts.
So, we threw an angry bird party. I tried to keep it classy -- no walmart decorations. I think it turned out pretty cute. Isaac loved it and after all is said and done, that is all that matters.
Happy 3rd Birthday Ike! I love you!

Aww so sweet! He is so cute! Oh my Ike sounds so much like my almost 3 year old Mitchell - seriously so easy going and such a sweet boy I bet Ike and Mitchell would get along great! I love this age and these boys - maybe something about the Feb 2010 baby boys?
