my thoughts on puke...

1) It is the hardest thing to clean up.
2) It takes everything in me to not puke myself while I am cleaning it up.
3) Washing machines do not always effectively get the smell out of puked on fabric.
4) Sometimes you just have to toss whatever has been puked on.
5) Your car will never smell the same after a puking incident.
6) Puking most often occurs in or on something brand new (a car, a couch, a rug, an outfit, etc.)
7) Puking often occurs at least twice (brace yourself for another round right after you finish cleaning the first).
8) IT IS INEVITABLE ON OUR FAMILY ROAD TRIPS.

We almost made it home last night without incident. Then, about an hour from home, Jack puked. Of course, being the pro puke cleaner that I am, I managed to contain the mess, put all spoiled clothes, blankets, books, and backpacks in some trash bags, and successfully spare our car from weeks of lingering odors.

I'm not sure if it is car sickness or real sickness that causes my kids to puke in the car, but either way, it's gross and it's happening way too often.
